Ambient Display & AMOLED Care
CO5300 AMOLED has no separate LED backlight; panel commands control brightness. The game cannot merely stop refreshing: passive economy, RTC and saves continue, while fixed bright UI should not remain indefinitely.
Operating cadences
| Mode | Target FPS | Brightness | Frame | Logic |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Full | 30 | ≈55% | Full page | 50 ms tick |
| Reduced | 15 | ≈55% | Full, fewer animations | 50 ms tick |
| Ambient ON | 2 | 12% | Center sleeping Seed | 1 s tick |
| Ambient OFF | 2-submit policy | 0% | Pure black | 1 s tick |
Anti-burn-in drift
When enabled, only the 160×160 six-frame sleeping Seed is drawn. Every 30 seconds it follows a deterministic path within ±2 px, changing fixed pixels without visible jitter or leaving the safe area.

Entry sequence
- Timeout expires with no active transaction.
- Cancel burst, particles, FX, confirmations and previews.
- Synchronize dirty state once.
- Select ON/OFF brightness.
- Switch render to 500 ms and game tick to 1 s.
- Enter silent presentation policy.
Wake sequence
Touch or short PWR restores brightness and 30/15 FPS. The first touch is consumed from down to up and recalibrates IMU from five pre-touch samples. IMU motion itself never wakes the panel.
Device evidence
- Ambient ON log:
brightness=12 fps=2, with Sparks still growing. - OFF branch is pixel-black on host and
brightness=0on device. - No new audio, callout or touch-action logs in ambient.
- The ON/OFF setting survives reboot in schema v4.
